Jessica Alba
Jessica Marie Alba is an American actress and
businesswoman. She began her television and film careers at the age of 13 with
Camp Nowhere, and The Secret World of Alex Mack (1994). At age 19, she rose to
fame as the leading actress of Dark Angel (2000–2002), for which she was
awarded a Golden Globe nomination. Honey (2003) was her biggest screen success.
She quickly became an Hollywood actress, and has starred in numerous films that
have made the box office a roaring success throughout her career, including
Fantastic Four (2005), Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), Good
Luck Chuck (2007), The Eye (2008), Valentine's Day (2010), Little Fockers
(2010), as well as Mechanic: Resurrection (2016). 9] She has been a frequent
collaborator of director Robert Rodriguez, having starred in Sin City (2005),
Machete (2010), Spy Kids: All the Time in the World (2011), Machete Kills
(2013), as well as Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014). Alba was a part of
Spectrum's action-crime series L.A. Finest from 2019 to 2020. In the year 2011,
Alba co-founded The Honest Company which is an American business that offers
household, baby and personal products.Magazines such as Men's Health, Vanity
Fair and FHM have included her in their lists of world's most beautiful women.
Jessica Marie Alba, a daughter of Mark David Alba (nee Jensen) was born in
Pomona California, April 28 1981. Her mother has Danish, Welsh, German and
English ancestry. Her maternal grandparents were both immigrants from
California. Joshua is her younger brother. Gustavo Arellano (her third cousin)
is her biological father. Her father's Air Force career took her family to
Biloxi in Mississippi and Del Rio Texas before she returned to Claremont
California at the age of nine. Alba says that her family is a conservative,
traditional, Catholic, Latin American family. She calls herself liberal and
says that she identified as a feminist as early as five years old.
